ANTI-CORROSION MACHINING (AC-POWER SUPPLY)
1.AC power delivers higher accuracy and greater strength to the EDM'd surface
of Tungsten Carbide with almost no cobalt (binder) depletion.
2.AC power reduces oxidation on the EDM'd surface of Titanium, Aluminum, and
other specialty metals used in Aerospace and medical applications.
3.Losses in machining surface hardness due to electrolysis or corrosion can
be minimized, extending the life of dies.
4.In the machining of tungsten carbide and other sintered materials, there is
almost no reduction in strength after machining due to binder depletion.
5.Improved surface finishes for Form Tool and Mold Inserts. Eliminates surface
oxidation and discoloration of Titanium and other metals. Reurces oxidation
on tool steels during and after EDMing.
